Our technology predictions for the new decade
Recent reports suggest that by the end of the new decade, you can expect technology to have evolved so far that business will be conducted in an almost virtual reality world, where you will appear to be in the same room as someone on the other side of the country or indeed the world. Furthermore, rather than using a mouse to navigate your computer screen, you’ll be able to do it simply with the power of thought!
Then again, by 2010 we’re supposed to have conquered space, and if "Back to the Future 2" is to be believed, we’re only five years away from flying cars!
But it could happen, and that’s what future technology experts are saying. It won’t be happening in the next couple of years though.
Here's what we at BITS foresee in the next few years
Over the past couple of years, you’ll have noticed that it’s become a lot easier to conduct your business on the move, with wireless internet connectivity improving, as well as the rise of the netbook.
Well, that seems to be the way technology is continuing to develop. We expect more and more business to be conducted using Blackberry or IPhone style devices, as well as on Tablet-style PCs, which are set to take the market by storm in 2010. With the introduction of Windows 7 and its compatibility with mobile technology, all this becomes more possible.
