Microsoft announces Windows 8 upgrade pricing for people buying Windows 7 now
Microsoft has announced that anyone buying a Windows 7 PC now will be eligible for an upgrade to Windows 8 for just £14.99 when the operating system launches later on this year.
By offering this deal Microsoft hopes to minimize the impact of people who are hanging on for the new operating system rather than buying a new PC now.
To be eligible you just need to buy a new PC running Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate between 2nd June 2012 and 28th February 2013. Then register for your upgrade offer at www.windowsupgradeoffer.com.
Those who take advantage of the offer will receive a promotional code along with purchase instructions on the day that Windows 8 is released.
