Phil Walks for Charity
Regular readers of the BITS Newsletter will know that we’re very keen to support local charities and get involved where we can.
One such opportunity came up recently, as our very own walking enthusiast Phil Carroll took part in the 20th Annual Weston Mercury Mendip Challenge.
Starting from Cheddar, Phil walked the 20 mile course all the way to Uphill on the Mendip Trail in aid of Weston Hospicecare.
Having only decided to do the charity walk a few days earlier, he still managed to raise a respectable £115 for what is a very good cause.

As you can see in the photo, Phil – ever the company man - completed the walk proudly wearing the hottest fashion item of the summer; the BITS company Polo shirt. Even his friend Ian is wearing it!
